Ellsworth Elementary School is the third elementary school within the J.O. Combs Unified School District. We educate nearly 800 Kindergarten through 5th grade children. Located in San Tan Valley, Arizona, we pride ourselves on having the best of the “small town” benefits while, at the same time, looking to the future with the most advanced technology and conveniences of the 21st century. We believe you can have it all!

Our school has attracted the best of the best teachers in Arizona. They care about the academic and social growth of our students. Being a neighborhood school, we care about each other and our accomplishments as families do. Parents and teachers work together for the personal success of each of our students, instilling personal qualities such as respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, and caring. We’re not just educating children; we’re raising and educating successful adults, citizens, and leaders of communities.

Our technologically advanced school, where each classroom is equipped with computers and interactive Smart boards, gives our students the tools they need to develop their bright futures. Through this technology our students have the opportunity to become active participants in their learning through the STARRS/Accelerated Reader Program and the Orchard Software program.

Ellsworth Elementary students also enjoy music, where our students excel in band and orchestra. And we have an awesome gifted program, and an effective English Language Learners (ELL) program.
